MEDIPOST obtained a patent in Korea for its stem cell culture medium technology that can be used to prevent hair loss.

The title of this patent is ‘Stimulated Stem Cell Culture Media’s Hair Growth Facilitating Function and its Use’ and it deals with a technique for developing a stem cell culture medium-based solution that can prevent hair loss and facilitate hair growth.

This technique involves exposing stem cells acquired from cord blood to an artificially created catagen phase and developing a culture medium that can prevent hair loss.

Stem cell liquid medium is not the stem cell itself but a medium that can be acquired during the process of culturing stem cells and it contains various effective growth factors that stem cells have secreted.
